Activities available in Castellot II include animal tracking and nature observation. Castellot II offers an abundances of senderos, which are lush nature paths perfect for scientific and academic experiences, such as zoological and botanical cataloguing, in this Calakmul community.

Castellot II has comfortable accommodation in furnished bungalows or in their recently-upgraded camping zone. A kitchen and dining room is located near the bungalows, but a separate dining hall and cooking facilities are available to campers closer to the nature paths.
