Itinerary
Day 1: With a warm welcome to Mexico and an introduction to your tour, you will begin these exciting few days in San Francisco de Campeche with a delicious meal at La Pigua Restaurant, check in at your hotel, and take a beautiful walking tour of this charming colonial city.
Day 2: After a refreshing breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Xtamcubixuan’an and take a tour of the stunning caves. Next, you will tour both the Tokoh and Edzná archaeological sites, with an energizing lunch in between. In the late afternoon you will return to San Francisco where you can enjoy an evening of exploration and fun.
Day 3: Rise and shine! This early morning will take you to Calakmul, where you will tour a stunning archaeological and savor meals in Calakmul’s Conhuás community.
Day 4: Get ready for a day full of exploration! After breakfast in Conhuás, you will tour the Balamkú and Chicanná archaeological zones. You will then be transferred to the community of 20 de Noviembre where you will have the option of participating in various craft workshops, such as embroidery and woodworking, led by local businesses. Your day will end with dinner and a night of rest in the community of Castellot.
Day 5: After breakfast in Castellot, you will be taken on a scenic nature trail tour followed by exploration of El Hormiguero archaeological zone. A late morning transfer to the community of Valentín will provide you a visit to its beekeeping and honey-producing site, a community meal, and a magnificent orchid tour before returning to Castellot for a free afternoon.
Day 6: A morning trip to the community of Cristóbal Colón will allow you to explore its unforgettable caves. You will also receive a tour at the Xpujil archaeological zone, as well as free time at the gorgeous Zoh Lagoon and a trip back to San Francisco to enjoy your last night in Campeche.
Day 7: Sadly, this is the last day of the trip! After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transported to the airport filled with happy and lasting memories of your time in beautiful Campeche.
